How to go to Bukhansan (Bukhan mountain, National Park) from Pencil hostel in Seoul.

1. Take subway.

Hong-ik University station. (Line No.2) - Go to Euljiro 3 ga and then transfer to line No.3

- Go to Gupabal station (Line No.3)

* From Hong-ik Univ. station, it takes about 40 minutes. (Including transferring and waiting)

At Gupabal station, find Exit No.1

2. Take the bus (Bus No.34)

At the bus station in front of Exit No.1, take the bus No. 34. (Get off the bus at 북한산성입구 - Bukhansansung ipgoo)
* Show this station name someone around you. Don't miss this station.

Mt. Bukhansan offers breathtaking views of Seoul below and is supposed to be beautiful in the autumn.

Reached the base of the mountain here.

From the entrance of this National Park. Just follow the peak name '백운대(Baegundae)'

* You can find the sign for 백운대 (Baegundae) at the every forks or cross roads.

It takes about 2.5~3hours to the peak. (Prepare some supplies like mineral water, gloves, lunch box ^_^,,,,)
